From May 1st 2024 the application process for foreign microlights wanting to fly in Danish airspace changes. Permission must be requested from the Danish Transport Authority, not from Danish microlight association DULFU. The documents required are the same, but application should be directed to Trafikstyrelsen on the address info@trafikstyrelsen.dk.
DULFU has been struggling with having the transport authority acknowledge “opt out” 600 kg microlights. The change in application process is part of trying to make Denmark walk the same path as most other European countries.
